The theme of the conference is new developments and advances in the design and construction of bridges.
The focus of the conference will be on design codes; construction
techniques; designing for extreme events; sustainable and durable bridge
designs; lessons learned from past bridge failures; bridge design
computer technology and analysis; condition assessments of aging
bridges; evaluations of bridge bearings, isolation systems, dampers, and
expansion joints; and construction staging analysis.
